This month’s NewBee Fundamentals and Special Topics discussion groups are held on the third Tuesday of each month on Zoom. NewBee Fundamentals starts at 6:30 PM, offering discussion and Q&A on topics of interest to the beginning beekeeper. At 7:30 PM the meeting will switch to Special Topics, with more in-depth discussion and Q&A on topics of interest to all beekeepers.  You are welcome to attend either or both sessions. The sessions will both take place within the same Zoom session and use the same link.

NewBee Fundamentals - for the beginning beekeeper.  Discussions, strategies, and Q&A about your honey bees.

This month: General timeline for getting started, equipment size and style, bear fencing, comparing packages and nucs, checking winter feed.

Come join us for a timely discussion and multiple answers to your questions.

Special Topics - for the advancing beekeeper.  Seasonal issues and problems will be examined.  Meetings will typically feature a brief talk by the facilitator followed by Q&A and interactive discussion of topics brought by participants.

This month: The winter colony; managing survivors on the road to spring.

Beginning and veteran beekeepers are encouraged to attend, learn, and share your wisdom!
