Honey Judging with Mary Duane.

Massachusetts Beekeeper Association President Mary Duane will present on the process of Honey Show judging. She has entered honey shows for over 20 years and has been judging honey in her state for over 10 years. The presentation will cover what the judges are looking for when evaluating honey, how honey is evaluated, and tips on preparing honey products for competition. Winning a ribbon at a Honey show can add value to your honey and increase sales.

About the Speaker

Mary Duane began her love of beekeeping in 1999.  She has maintained upwards of 10 hives each year.  She is an EAS Master Beekeeper and the  President of the Massachusetts Beekeepers Association.
