The queenrearing project has queens available for summertime splits or requeening. Now is a great time to use the dynamism and resources of your existing colony to make up a nuc or a split, in order to hedge your bets against winter losses. If the queen and colony are underperforming, it’s also a good time to requeen, before we get into late summer, when the winter bees are reared.
